Based on our research and buyer reviews — we have not tested this unit hands-on.
The most capable pocket gimbal camera DJI has made. A new 1-inch stacked sensor, a second 60mm telephoto camera and D-Log 2 with a claimed 17 stops put it in a different class from the Pocket 4. It is also ₱8,800 more and 40 g heavier, which is why we only recommend it if you will actually use the zoom.

- Overkill if you only shoot talking-head or arm’s-length vlogs
The 4P — DJI’s materials call it both “Pocket 4P” and “Pocket 4 Pro” — is the first Pocket with two cameras. The wide camera is a new 1-inch stacked sensor behind the familiar 20mm f/2.0 lens; next to it sits a 60mm-equivalent telephoto on a 1/1.28-inch sensor at f/1.8. Together they give 3× optical zoom, 6× lossless and up to 12× hybrid in video.
That telephoto is the whole argument for the extra money. A pocket gimbal has always been a wide-angle tool; the 4P lets you frame a subject across a room, compress a street scene or shoot a product close-up without walking into it. ActiveTrack 8.0 keeps a lock on a subject all the way out to 12×, and DJI’s multi-person priority is meant to stop the gimbal wandering when someone walks through the frame.
The stacked sensor matters too. DJI claims 17 stops of dynamic range in its new D-Log 2 profile, against 14 on the Pocket 4, which for anyone grading footage is the more meaningful upgrade than the resolution.
Our take: if you shoot events, travel, products or anything where you cannot always get close, the 4P is worth the premium and is the best camera in the line. If your videos are mostly you talking to the camera, the Pocket 4 does the same job for ₱8,800 less and weighs 40 g less in your pocket.
